Honoring Your Choices Leads to Peace Within Yourself

Honoring Your Choices Leads to Peace Within Yourself

Each person has a different path.  Depending on your choices, you create scenarios of what you want to learn in this life.

You have to go within to determine the right action for yourself.

Different perceptions and experiences lead to different beliefs of what is right or true for you in all aspects of your life.

There are obvious truths like don’t kill or steal.  However, if it’s in self defense or self preservation maybe it’s right.

You have to be okay with your action in the moment and be willing to live with the outcome of your actions.

Knowing  you did the best you could in the moment, honoring your own choices so that you can be at peace with you, leads to peace within yourself.

Perhaps at one point in your life you need to learn self acceptance, and at another point in your life you have to learn to deliberately choose for yourself a path that is easier in a worldly sense.  This is where wisdom comes in, realizing it’s about you and your choices, and what outcomes you believe are right for you.

Integrating what the head knows to be true along with what the heart knows to be true is most important.  The logic is in the faculties of the mind and the feelings are in the heart.  Integrate both in decision making to make the best choice for you.

The mind and the heart know it’s not right to physically hurt others.  If you punch someone that’s not right action; however, if you did it in self defense it is right.

If you randomly hurt others, just because you were angry etc., it does not make it right and you are actually hurting yourself.  Your heart can’t be lied to.  You will be physically constricting the energy within yourself and in some way your physical body will be suffer the repercussions of your actions.

If your action was in self defense your heart knows you had to protect you.

Perhaps you are in a place where you need to learn to just choose from the mind to make an appropriate decision, like don’t steal, it leads to jail.  Maybe you need to sacrifice the judgment on stealing food if you were feeding others.  Making the decision from the heart would is an entirely different approach.

The wisdom would be in integrating the two; however, you need to judge the right action for yourself in the moment, honor you self in it and be at peace with the consequences of your actions.  Think it out.

Others will always have an opinion, you don’t need to convince them yours is right, unless you are confronting a jury. You need to maintain peace within you.

The heart choices tend to require more faith as each person cannot explain their heart as it makes no logical sense.  The head choices require more will power  - knowing the deliberate action you must take for what you believe is the right action.

Integrating the two and realizing both are important creates more balance.  Are you needing to learn surrender from your head or your heart, or integration of both?  Neither one side nor the other side is right, they will both lead to different results.

What can you live with and what do you hold important to you?  This is what will lead to peace in the outcome.  What is right for you in the moment is what matters and that you learn from that choice how to honor yourself and your place of being.

Bottom line; enjoy your journey and what you are learning.

Relax into your decisions for you, you are the only thinker in your universe that can control your thoughts.  Your actions result in the outcome of your reality.

8 Main Areas That Affect How Healthy and Happy You Are

People always want to know how to be healthier.  There is a lot that can be said about that but here are some points that I think most people should address.

Your body is the dwelling place of your soul.  It is the host for the Divine energy that flows through all of us.  It is your responsibility to take care of your body.

What affects the body?

  • Every thought you think,
  • everything you put in it,
  • everything you put on it,
  • the company you keep,
  • the things you say,
  • the things you do,
  • the things you hear,
  • the things you feel all affect who you are.

Every one of these has a frequency which affects us in a variety of ways – mentally, spiritually, or physically.

So, let’s break these 8 items mentioned above:

Thoughts – thoughts carry frequencies. Happy thoughts create chemicals that are released into the blood stream that cause overall sense of well being to improve.  Angry thoughts create endorphin cascades which cause an increase in the physical tension in our musculature.  As our muscles constrict they are not in a state of optimum strength, the energy which flows through the entire body is also constricted.  Organs will not get as much blood as they could for optimum functioning as the muscles constricted causing blood flow to decrease and the entire system is degraded.

What you put in your body (hopefully food) – Whole and fresh foods have more innate life force in them and affect your body by supporting it without supplements.  If you eat highly processed foods like white foods, they are stripped of their innate nutrients.  Start eating real food, shop the perimeter of the grocery store; this is where the perishable items are located. They support the life within you.  If it comes in a box, package, or through a drive up window don’t eat it.  Soda was not intended to replace water.  Do not put anything in the body which will degrade its senses.  It’s not wise.  Your senses are there for a reason.  If they are hypersensitive there is a reason, if they are not sensitive there is a reason.

What you put on your body (body lotions, fragrance, colors, etc.) - Do not put anything on your body that you couldn’t eat.  Your skin is the largest organ of detoxification you have, don’t clog your body’s mechanism for excretion of toxins.  That is the skin.  You can use a variety of fruit or nut oils on your skin, you could whip them and add essential oils to support your senses.  It’s all natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable.  Wow! Look at my blog regarding the effects of color if you want to know more about how color effects you, take notice of what you're drawn too and if it makes you feel better or worse.  I suggest moving toward what makes you feel better.

Company you keep - Would you want to go to a temple, church, or synagogue that was filled with a bunch of people who were dogmatic, judgmental, angry, dirty, etc.  ?  No, so do not keep your own body and your mind in that state.

Words and Thoughts – There is a book called Your Word is Your Wand by Florence Scovel Shinn, she gives you great examples of how your words affect your world and how to better use your words.  Remember the book Your Erroneous Zones, by Dr. Wayne Dyer, he helps point your incorrect perceptions of your reality.  If you now realize that your thoughts affect the harmony and health of your body, imagine what putting more energy behind them does.  Happy thoughts will produce happiness, angry thoughts produce anger, and just as the beet seed produces a beet.  So watch how the perceptions of your reality, your thoughts, create the emotions within you, which change the entire chemical makeup of your body.  It is your perceptions that produce the inner thoughts that drive your state of being.

If you would like to see the effects of words on water glasses changing the molecular structure of water check out Masaru Emoto’s book The Hidden Messages in Water.  He shows positive words positively impact the crystalline structure of a water molecule versus the effects of a negative word.  Imagine what those words, packed with emotion, being thought of in your head are doing to your body which is basically 80% water.

The things you do – your thoughts drive your actions, your actions reflect who you are.  Hopefully you can stand in place of honoring the person who you have become.  If you are not right in your heart with your actions then there is not harmony within your mind regarding your own self and this results in disharmony in the body.  Become conscious of your thoughts and actions for only you can choose them differently.

The things you hear – I wrote two blogs on the effects of sound.  Please refer to those for more detailed information regarding   Sound and the Varying Effects on Your Health and How Does Sound Affect Your Body? .

The things you feel – This is a complex thought, feelings.  You may feel emotionally happy or sad.  Each has its logical affects on your body.  You may feel that something is in alignment with you and it will feel good, or if it is not in alignment with you then a state of disharmony may be felt.  Listen to your guidance.  You may have a funny sense entering a building that you shouldn’t be there, then leave.  Follow your guidance, it always aims for life sustainment and your best interests if you don’t lie to yourself.

You need to listen to your inner guidance that tells you what the best action is for you, not someone else’s belief is the right action for you. There is a careful balance in this as you look for advice or seek approval for your decisions to better yourself, realize you are the one who has to live with the repercussions of the decisions you make within this dwelling.  The decision has to sit in your heart with peace.  Don’t lie to yourself, it only works for a period of time.

If you lie to yourself you physically weaken yourself, I talk about this in another blog.

You are responsible for your body, not all are created equal.

Some are stronger physically, some are stronger mentally, some are stronger emotionally.

Some have higher thresholds of pain, or consumption of poor quality foods, drugs, etc.

Be wise in who you are within your body and don’t abuse it.

Don’t waste your time envying someone else’s temple.

Enhance and support yours to the best of your ability.

Everything will have a repercussion to the actions you take.

A Little About Prayer - Use it to Make a Change in Your World

Prayer was one of the 7 ways I listed to make a change in your world and re-focus your thoughts to something new.

Since it’s Sunday and we live in the West most Westerners observe this day as a day of worship in their faith.

How apropos that we would discuss a little about prayer today.  It’s amazing how our lives are orchestrated to fall into the Divine plan.

Prayer is not a state of begging, or making you look bad, or putting yourself down.

Prayer should be a place of celebration of what is, noting what you would like to change within yourself, noting what you would like to better, asking forgiveness, forgiving yourself,  and then asking help in reshaping the thoughts you want to change into their potential for greatness.

Enjoy your faith, taking pride (not arrogant pride, but the healthy aspect of doing your best and loving you in that) in what you do to celebrate it.  That would be a healthy sense of respecting yourself and what you do.

Have respect for all things, everyone is doing the best they can.  Give thanks for where you are at, it’s a beautiful mystery, find it’s beauty in all that you see and give thanks for each moment of this.  You will raise your vibration.

So, if you are adverse to the word prayer or God you need to clear it.  It’s a great place to start on your path of healing, clear whatever it is within yourself that chooses separation.

Remember you deserve all the support you can get, you may as well start with the Spring from which all good things flow.  Return to building a relationship there.

Have a wonderful Sunday in whatever way you choose to celebrate another day of living.

Support Yourself, What Needs Healing?

Supporting your body on the path of healing is so important.  Whatever it is that is throwing you off, be it anger, resentment, chronic or acute diseases, sadness, various aches and pains, this is what you believe is needing healing.  Start there.  Balance nutrition, rest, exercise, and pursue a cure, knowing that it is possible.

Our health is not just our bodies, but it is an integration of body, mind and spirit.  Over the years of working with chronic disease in energy medicine, I saw that there was always some issue behind a disease pattern.  That’s why frequency matching didn’t seem to work all of the time.  If you can get to the issue behind the disease, you can then address it.  That’s where spiritual healing comes in.

It seems that disease mimics in our body our judgments or issues we have with our world.  Maybe foot pain is afraid to stand on your own, leg problems are afraid to step forward in life, and then there is our belief that this is the way the body is supposed to go, or the belief that my parents had this issue, why wouldn’t I?

Your fear of it or focus on it draws it closer to you.  Your disdain for weak people maybe makes you weak later in life and then you end up with disdain for yourself that shuts the body down. When all you have to do is turn and love that part of you, and have respect for that aspect of yourself, this thought alone may free the body up to heal itself.

People first of all have to want to heal.  Looking behind the disease pattern is not necessarily an easy journey.  It makes us have to look at our own issues lurking in the shadows within ourselves.  The only way to free ourselves from ourselves is to turn and face these thoughts we have in those shadowy areas of ourselves.  Choose differently and know you can.

If we are in reaction to the world around us, it is our reaction and only we can change it.
