Color affects you in many ways. What you are seeing is a reflection of light
bouncing off of a solid surface. You are actually reacting to the frequency of the light representing the color. Energy medicine once again.
You are getting exposure to a variety of colored light throughout the day. Mostly green if you live in a rural area, then again, since it’s still a little wintery there is still a lot of brown out there. Thank God for the color of the sky during those wintery months.

This chart depicts different ways in which some basic colors or light frequencies affect you.
The color of light pink has a
sedating effect on our nervous system and is now being used in mental
institutions, prisons, and detention centers
to calm people down. Here's a fun fact that you may want to try out, wearing Baker-Miller pink therapy glasses has been known to suppress appetite, as well as decrease aggression.
Science is now starting to prove what people have innately
known. The color red has a stimulating affect on our nervous system. That is why bull fighters have used it for
decades to stimulate a bull into action, where the color gold was used to calm
it down. What’s amazing is that the bull is
affected by the color even when it is color blind. It is actually the frequency of the color of the light that effects us.
You subconsciously respond to the effects of color whether you consciously recognize it or not.

you. Notice what you are craving to wear,

Becoming more present with this will give you insights into how you are functioning, what you need, or how you are treating your own health issues without even being conscious of it.
Try wearing colored glasses in 15min intervals around the house and see how it affects you.

Lovely post about colour. Rothko hit on a great concept with his colour-field paintings, and the emotional effects that colour produces !
ReplyDeleteJana, colour has incredible affects on us that only the people who feel a response from have understood. Thank you for introducing me to a new artist who related to the emotional effects that colour produces. I love what colour does.

Absolutely amazing. Everything in our environment affects us whether we are conscious of it or not. All things are made of up vibrations at different frequencies that our innate nature picks up. May as well use it to your advantage when you want to - color, thoughts, sounds, scents, etc.
